Last week we migrated the bulk of our store from the east side of the building to the west side, opening for business on the west side for the first time on Friday, July 14. Our construction crew, our staff, our board, and our volunteers worked incredibly hard and the results can be seen with our new, expanded produce section, seating area, and check-out area.
During phase 2 of the whole-store remodel project, the Co-op’s new kitchen will be completed and remodel of the east side of the store will begin. By the end of the project, Bluff Country Co-op’s total retail space will have nearly doubled.
As always, we will continue to offer foods focused on local, organic, and healthy eating. In addition, we will expand our healthy prepared food offerings with a salad bar, a hot bar, and Winona’s only juice bar. We will continue to offer made-from-scratch soups and packaged fresh sandwiches and salads.
